The Moon Thread Tarot App transforms the ancient art of tarot into an interactive onchain experience. Each day, users connect with Base Pay to draw a unique card from a custom 78-card deck with its full artwork, lore, and meaning revealed only after the draw and can optionally mint that exact moment as a one-of-one NFT/Collectible, forever recorded on Base.

The user also receives an affirmation, daily reflection, lunar guidance directly connected to the current moon cycle, location energy (if they opt to share location), and even ritual suggestions. If the user decides to mint their card as a Collectible/NFT, it includes the original card artwork and special metadata that records the date, time, and orientation of the draw, making each minted card a verifiable onchain artifact of that moment.

How It Works:

Connect Wallet & Pay: Users connect via Base Pay to initiate their daily draw.
Draw Card: A deterministic onchain mechanism ensures a truly random daily card with upright/reversed outcomes.
Unlock Experience: The artwork, detailed meanings, and lore are revealed to the user.
Optional Mint: If the user chooses, they can mint their draw as a 1/1 Collectible/NFT with metadata unique to their pull.

Best Practices checklist:

• Authentication - Users connect wallet once and it remembers them for next time. Also displays base name if available

• Manifest - All items on the embed checklist are green. Manifest is fully complete.

• Embeds & Previews - When users share in TBA and Farcaster, the app links show a preview image and custom launch button text.

• Search & Discovery - App is searchable in Farcaster and TBA. App is also number 3 in Health category in TBA. All icons etc. fully populate in the search results.

• Sharing & Social Graph- App has a feature for users to share their reading information. This share button has been designed so it detects if the user is in Farcaster or TBA, allowing a seamless share experience for the user.

• UX Best Practices - We paid particular attention to UX design in order to give the user the best experience possible. We identified any issues and came up with solutions. The flow of the app is as simple as possible and also takes into account where the user is viewing the app from. Base Pay button added to allow seamless payment for TBA users and pay with Farcaster wallet added for Farcaster users. We followed the same flow for minting, allowing users from TBA and Farcaster to mint using their preferred method.
